“New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the premiere of “Goodbye Letter” by Nate Allen & The Pac-Away Dots. The song is a socially conscious stream of being in the rock and roll scene with the current state of affairs. With a slight western vibe to the song, it feels as if the narrator is in a duel with himself, trying to find a better way to place his voice in the world. Watch the music video below, and listen to the record Take Out The Trash!”
The Pac-Away Dots exist in the cathartic space between plaintive indie rock, soul-bearing folk, blunt southern blues, and jagged rock n’ roll. Their punk-informed songs are vintage heart-on-the-sleeve Nate Allen (of Destroy Nate Allen), and his merry band of Pac-Away Dots helps to drive things home with an energetic and electric flair.
Goodbye Letter was Directed, Filmed, and Edited by Jessie Van Der Vyver.
